About Maury:

Maury is a native of Atlanta and attended Briarcliff High School, The University of Georgia, and Georgia State University.  He started as a life insurance agent in 1985 with Equitable Life Assurance Society (now AXA).  Prior to joining Ferguson Shapiro, Maury was a founder of Your Wealth Partners.  He holds the designations of CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter) and ChFC (Chartered Financial Consultant).  He received numerous awards from AXA during his time affiliated with the company including their Centurion Award as well as Hall of Fame induction.  

Maury works with individual clients in the areas of protection and estate planning concentrating on life insurance, disability income insurance, and long term care insurance.  Maury works with small businesses in the areas of group benefits ranging from health, dental, and vision insurance to short term and long term disability, life insurance, and other ancillary products.  He also works with business owners in regard to buy-sell insurance and key person insurance to protect the business. 

Maury has held numerous volunteer roles with The Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta, The Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta, and The Atlanta Jewish Film Festival.

Maury married Staci in 1986 (yes, she was willing to marry a life insurance agent who had been in business for one year!).  They have three grown sons.  Together they enjoy travel, cheering on any and all of the Atlanta sports teams and of course, the University of Georgia Bulldogs.
